About this event
We will meet at the Midewin Prairie visitor center and determine where to hike from there. Most trails are crushed gravel going through prairies and woods. Some encircle ponds and marshes. Most hike are around 6 miles or more depending on where we want to go. There is also a bison herd there which we might view.
After the hike we may stop in nearby Manhattan for lunch.
