The 45th year of Folks On Spokes invitational ride is in the books! 45 years ago the name of ride was known as the “Easter Ride” and segued into the name “Spring Fling” in 2022. Riders started to line up early in the morning, and the ride officially began at 7am.
This year we lucked out with decent weather for most of the event. Many riders from the Major Taylor bike club came to ride. Thanks for supporting our club by coming to the Spring Fling!!!
Several volunteers came to help out and chat with everyone. The volunteers handled a lot of food prep and prepared the tablecloths and decor. We’re known for our homemade cookies, and this year's batches did not disappoint. Peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, a bikers best friend, were available, along with lots of fruit, chips, and pickles.
After all the socializing in the afternoon, things started to wrap up and people began leaving despite the rain….well, at least the rain held off until the end. Thank you everyone for pulling off the Spring Fling this year!
