Let‘s try it again for a campfire following a hike around beautiful Issak Walton. We have firewood, the propane grill, condiments, paper products, etc. Bring your food to grill and something to share if you wish. You‘ll need your chair and grilling accessories. Hike at 10 - fire about 11:30 or so...

About a 4.5 mile trail winding through marshes & black oak savannas to the lake. Some hills - one tougher climb near the end. Hike mostly in wooded areas.

Quarterly FOS meeting to be held at Schoops in Tinley Park. Schoops has seating in the back with waitstaff service. See Prez JoDell as you come in; she will have $10 for each member to go towards their order.

meet at the lodge outside the diner at 10AM and we will follow the trails through woods and by bluffs and waterfalls along the Illinois River to LaSalle Canyon and back. Optional brief visits to Illinois Waterway and Buffalo Rock State Park along the north shore and lunch in the area to be determined

Hike begins at Thorn Creek Woods and then we drive to GSU to walk the grounds and look at the sculptures. Longer time out so lunch is later than usual.
